Fund for the Improvement of Postsecondary Education (FIPSE)
- FIPSE in the U.S. Department of Education, through its Comprehensive Program, has awarded a $714,000 grant to the Mathematics Department at Texas State University for the Mix It Up Program. 50% of the $1 million project is funded by FIPSE, with the remaining 50% funded by non-federal sources. The Mix It Up activities began October 2006 and extend through September 2010.

Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board (THECB) - Mathematics, Science, Technology Teacher Preparation Academy (MSTTPA)
- The Mathematics, Science, Technology Teacher Preparation Academy through the Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board, has awarded a $350,000 grant to the Mathematics Department at Texas State University for the Mix It Up Program. The Mix It Up activities began with Cycle 1 from August 2008 and extend through September 2010. A Cycle 2 Extension has been approved which will fund the program through September 2011.
Mathematics Instructional Coaches Pilot Program
- The Mix It Up program is an approved service provider through Texas Education Agency's (TEA) Mathematics Instructional Coaches Pilot Program
